The bill (Reg. No. 2877) suggests amending articles 52, 389 and 390 of the Criminal Code under which, these articles apply not only to persons on whom the respective punishments were imposed by the verdict of a court, but also to those who serve their punishments as imposed according to article 82 of the Criminal Code in the order of substitution of this punishment with a more lenient sentence.
Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which according to them will promote improvement of a mechanism of criminal and legal influence on criminality
Thereat, Committee members noted that the remarks made to the bill should be taken into account during refinement of the bill for the second reading.
